(Mesquite, Texas) – The head for the Keep Mesquite Beautiful (KMB) lady bug mascot is missing.

The mascot was one of the many attendees at this past weekend’s Christmas in the Park event in Mesquite. KMB officials say the head was apparently stolen during Friday night’s festivities.

Police have been notified, and are working through school resource officers to find leads. A $100 reward is also being offered.

The not-for-profit group says it will not ask questions if the head is returned. The group would just like to make the costume whole again.
