DFW-based To Be Productive Blog Listed as Best of the Web

On November 21, 2009, the administrator for the To Be Productive blog was notified the blog at http://2bproductive.blogspot.com/ was added to the Best of the Web Blog List under the category for business management. The To Be Productive blog contains information on team-building, meeting management, problem solving, customer service, goal setting, time management, employee recognition, and much more.
This blog was started in April 2008 by Shirley Fine Lee, of Lewisville and author of “R.A!R.A! A Meeting Wizard's Approach”, along with three other DFW area consultants who offer coaching and training. These four blog contributors have written books and are recognized management coaches and consultants. Besides Ms. Lee, other regular blog contributors include Deborah Arvin (author of “The Management Map: Navigation Tools for the New Manager”) of Plano, along with George Hendley (a contributor to the book “Meditations for the Road Warrior”) and Carl Youngberg (author of “Make Yourself Matter: Become Your Own Best Asset”) from Richardson. Each week, one of these consultants post something related to productivity or leadership issues and encourage comments and additional tips from readers. Other well-known consultants and authors also guest write for this blog.
From October through December of 2009, the To Be Productive blog is running a comments contest to encourage readers to help others who want to become more effective and productive both personally and professionally by providing their own tips. Contest rules and information about prizes are provided through a link in the upper right corner of the blog. The blog also has a 2bproductive Twitter account so readers can choose to find out about new posts by following the blog there.
The To Be Productive blog has postings related to leadership, attitude, economy, communication, productivity, motivation, environment, change, stress, quality, training and other issues facing business professionals.
