With hopes to see many more homeless animals in forever homes by Christmas, The Velvet Snout Canine Adventure Center, LLC is working in conjunction with Local Animal Shelters to help match homeless Pets with “Forever Families” with it’s Holiday “Homeless Snout” Adoption Tree.
Dallas, TX (Dallas Morning News) 20, November, 2009 -- The Velvet Snout Canine Adventure Center, LLC in Richardson, TX., is ringing in the holidays, with a pet adoption tree to help match needy pets with forever families. Working closely with local animal shelters and rescue organizations to identify adoptable pets, the “Homeless Snout Tree” offers hope for many animals in need of forever homes.
Velvet Snout General Manager Diana Hall says “I think this has been an unusually hard year for everyone, including our family pets. During these hard economic times, many family pets have now ended up at our already over-crowded shelters. “We hope to raise awareness about the plight of these pets, and to see many of them back in forever homes by Christmas.” “Our Christmas wish would be to see a bare tree by Christmas Eve, with all needy pets settled in their new homes, with their new forever families.”
Anyone interested in adopting or sponsoring a needy pet may stop by The Velvet Snout and visit the “Homeless Snout Tree.” Anyone who adopts, or sponsors a needy pet, in time for Christmas, will be given their choice of a free groom, or a luxury bath as our way of saying thank you.
” The Velvet Snout Owner Laura Couch says “In times like these we have to remember the true meaning of the holidays, it’s about helping those that cannot help themselves, If just one pet is adopted, then the Homeless Snout Tree has brought some hope, where otherwise, none may exist.”
