McKinney North Band Receives Superior Ratings at UIL

[October 17, 2009, McKinney, Texas] The McKinney North Band (MNHS) is once again proud to boast a Superior Rating Award at the Region 25 UIL Marching Contest, which was held October 19 at Plano Clark Stadium. The band earned Division 1 (Superior) Ratings from all three judges at the UIL Contest. This is the 7th consecutive year to receive Division I (Superior) ratings at the UIL Marching Contest for the MNHS Band! The band now advances to the UIL AREA Marching Contest at Pennington Field on Saturday, Oct. 24th. Congratulations to these hard-working students, their private lesson teachers, and the directors who have encouraged them to practice and perform at such a high level.
