LakeCities Ballet Theatre Announces 2009 Nutcracker Guest Artist

Kelly Lannin, artistic director of LakeCities Ballet Theatre, is proud to present LBT’s annually celebrated and lavish production of the year, The Nutcracker. LBT will feature very special guest artists Julie Kent and Sascha Radetsky, dancers from the world renowned New York City ballet company, American Ballet Theatre and the hit movie, Center Stage. This breathtaking production is a holiday tradition performed for the past 19 years in Lewisville, Texas. LBT will continue as one of the only community ballet companies to provide live orchestra music for Tchaikovsky's magnificent score. Audience members will delight in the holiday story of Clara, whose Nutcracker Prince takes her to the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. With a cast of more than 160 performers, enchanting costumes, magical sets, and incredible dancing, adults and children of all ages will be mesmerized by a performance that will create lasting memories.
