McKinney Resident Helps Create a Masterpiece

1 Rating / 1 Comment

McKinney resident and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children patient Quentin Franz, age 4, unleashed his creative talents at the Christopher Martin Painting Day event. Quentin teamed up with local artist Christopher Martin at his studio for an afternoon of artistic fun. The masterpiece will be auctioned off Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the 14th annual Treasure Street, the signature event of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, at Highland Park Village in Dallas.

Each year before Treasure Street, renowned artist Christopher Martin opens his studio to TSRHC patients to create a unique work of art. TSRHC patients took turns creating their own colorful designs on the blank canvas, which Christopher Martin transformed into a beautiful work of art titled “Oui Oui Paris!” Paintings created at Christopher Martin Painting Days and auctioned at Treasure Street have raised a total of $80,000 for the hospital. For more information about Treasure Street, please visit www.treasurestreet.com.
