Following the adoption of Stewart Creek Park by The Colony Bass Club, the club wanted to show their support of the Opening Ceremony of The Colony Shoreline Trail on June 6, 2009. Members of the Colony Bass Club fielded questions in their booth at the trail entrance on the requirements to join the bass club.  Vice President, Milton Kornegay, explained that boat owners and non boat owners were welcomed in the club.  The club holds tournaments on area lakes each month.   President, Lynn Schmidt, told visitors to the booth that the club would sponsor a kid fish in September for all children.  If someone would like to find out more about bass fishing with a Club that been around for 30 years they should go to the website for more information.  www.thecolonybassclub.org
