Tangerine Salon & Spa was all Brandon and Janet Hensley’s doing.

Janet Hensley has 27 years of experience in the industry. So five years ago, when the couple decided to open the Tangerine Salon and Spa in Coppell as a partner of Aveda, they were ready to take hair care to another level.

“Tangerine has seen a phenomenal growth in the last five years,” Brandon Hensley said. “We have more than 60 staff members. And the Aveda customers are very loyal.”

The salon offers various unisex services, including haircuts, colors and highlights, and perms and straighteners; nail care such as full manicures and pedicures; skin care; and spa services such as facials, waxing and massages.

But Tangerine’s mainstay is hair color.

With more than 20 hair-care providers in Coppell, the salon is known for its color expertise, Brandon Hensley said. The spa is the enhancement to the salon, giving guests great skin care and therapeutic massages, he said.

The Tangerine team also performs at hair shows and events.
