Best Chiropractor: Dr. Kirtland Speaks

BY KENDALL KIRKHAM

Dr. Kirtland Speaks of Expressions Chiropractic & Rehab enjoys his job because he is able to affect patients’ lives, he said. Speaks and his staff do everything from the heart, and strive to be non-stereotypical doctors. The office has a coffee bar for patients in the back and is decorated with warm, welcoming colors. You also won’t see anyone in the office wearing a white coat.

The office is connected with Expressions Salon and Spa next door, so when you come in, your visit doesn’t have to be just about going to the “doctor.”

One thing about chiropractics that Speaks wants people to realize is that it’s not just important for getting rid of pain; it’s important for taking care of the body. When patients come in, the doctors see if the spine is interfering with the nervous system, which helps run all functions in the body. By removing those interferences, it helps patients live a better life.

Why is Speaks the chiropractor of choice for those in Best Southwest?

“He has the respect if the entire medical community,” said Dr. Cody Squyres of Expressions. “He’s friends with everybody.”

Expressions Chiropractic & Rehab is located at 510 W. FM 1382 in Cedar Hill. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to noon and 2 to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday; and 8 a.m. to noon Friday and Saturday.
