Austin, TX – Robert Miklos was sworn in as State Representative for
District 101 on Tuesday. Nearly 60 residents and community leaders

first term and the start of the 81st Texas Legislature. Rep. Joe
Straus (R-San Antonio) was nominated and approved by the House to
serve as Speaker.
Representative Miklos said he was excited to get to work
and truly begin addressing the issues facing the District and State.
"I am so proud of all the folks who joined us at the Capitol for the
start of this journey," said Miklos. "I think there is a great
opportunity here for positive change and to give the residents of
District 101 a real voice in Austin."
Representative Miklos' District Office, located in
Downtown Mesquite, will be open by the end of the month.
Representative Miklos will hold a town meeting shortly after the
District Office opens up.  To contact Representative Miklos, you may
