Congratulations to Kyle Dantzler of Carrollton for taking top honors in neighborsgo.com’s 2008 Hit Us With Your Best Shot State Fair photo contest.

Kyle’s Over the Top image "captured an incredible moment," said Dallas Morning News photo editor Irwin Thompson, the Pulitzer Prize winner who headed the judging team.

"One can't watch, and the other wishes she wasn't," he said in describing the action. "It's a Page One shot all the way."

The image also captured the grand-prize package of an HP Photosmart Photo Printer, an HP Vivera Photo Printer and Ink value pack, an HP Photo Printer carrying case and a Flip video camera that features one-touch recording.

Kyle said he went to the State Fair specifically to shoot photos - and specifically to win this contest.

"I should've won last year," he said with a laugh. "So I was determined to shoot the winner this year."
