DALLAS - Paul Quinn College is the canvas for the first Raise Your Praise Gospel Explosion & HIV/AIDS Awareness Fair for the Campaign To End AIDS, August 23 in the campus Student Union Building. The 6 pm history making event joins local service organizations & ministries together in stamping out the threat of AIDS in our communities. This is a FREE family-friendly event that you don't want to miss!

Event activities include HIV screening, prevention & education; fantastic door prizes & the Raise Your Praise Concert. Area artists include: Ordered Steps Productions, Mimes of Miracles, Gospel Hip Hop Artist Xsedus, Platinum Praize, Davis Chapel Youth Choir, Loving Fellowship Mimes & Steppers, Minister Felecia Erwin & more! Bringing a high praise as host of the concert is Dallas' own dynamic Minister Kenneth Prox.

The Campaign To End AIDS is sponsoring Stand Against AIDS pilgrimage to Mississippi. Fifty activists from the Southwest Trail Caravan will converge upon the southern state September 24 in an effort to push the construction of a National AIDS Strategy within 100 days of the next US President taking office. The Stand Against AIDSis a multi-arm cross country road trip and march, culminating with the September 26 debate between presidential hopefuls Barack Obama & John McCain.
