DALLAS– The Dallas Business Journal recently released its 2008 Healthcare Heroes, and Dr. John Bond, founder and CEO of 6 Day Dental & Orthodontics, was honored with the “Innovator Award.” This award honors individuals or organizations for breakthroughs in healthcare technology, research or delivery.

            Dr. Bond has created the first successful privately owned, multi-office dental practice in North Texas, serving patients six days a week. Their unique business model offers the full line of dental services, including general dentistry (for adults and children), orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics and even cosmetic, which can be found in each of the five 6 Day offices.

            “I am honored to be selected as a Dallas Business Journal Healthcare Hero,” said Dr. Bond. “I started 6 Day with one thing in mind: convenience.             Not only are all of the services a patient needs in one location, but they have extended hours six days a week of 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. every Saturday. They have five offices in Plano/Frisco, Flower Mound, Allen, Coppell and Roanoke/Keller to serve a vast number of North Texans’ needs.

This giant tooth works tirelessly for 6 Day to educate young people in North Texas about the importance of preventive dental care and early intervention. Today, Molar Man has visited with more than 12,500 children at more than 120 schools since January. This is just another way Dr. Bond is changing the face of dentistry and running a practice focused on providing convenient care to families.
