On July 19, 2008 at DFWAirport the cub scouts of Pack 161 gave the troops goodies and showered them with thanks.  Everyone was happy and everyone was cheering for the troops.  The soldiers were very nice to help support our country.  We are very glad that they are home safely.  Whenever the troops came out it felt like there were thousands of them.  Everyone was welcoming them home and shaking their hands.  One soldier got really excited and said, “Thanks buddy!” for a jumbo Hershey bar we were handing out.  You could tell that the soldiers were very overwhelmed at all the people who turned out to welcome them home. 

This was our Pack’s second trip to welcome home the heroes and I hope we do it again soon.
