Hudson Middle School Cheerleaders spent the week of July 17-20 at NCA cheer camp on the campus of SMU.  The squad made up of ten 8th grade cheerleaders and ten 7th grade cheerleaders spent the week learning new cheers, chants, and stunts. 

The squads accomplishments include receiving a bid to Nationals, winning Top Team in the Performance division, receiving a Herkie Award voted on by the other teams at the camp, earning 3 spirit sticks, and all superior ribbons each day of evaluations.  Additionally all 20 girls received All-American Cheerleader nominations with seven 8th graders earning All-American distinctions.

The All-American cheerleaders are Brittany Bennett, Maddie Blacker, Karlie Covington, CJ Mathews, Kenzie Rector, Shelby Thornton, and Lindsay White.  Lindsay earned the highest score in the junior high/freshman division!
