Prospective brides and their friends flocked to the 2008 Bridal Expo, entitled, “Asian Passion”, A Bridal Extravaganza, Sunday afternoon, June 29 at the CedarHillRecreationCenter. Everyone was eager to gather wedding ideas and walking through the doors of the center felt like they were stepping into the Orient.

Guests had the opportunity to sample wedding cakes and artfully designed morsels of food. Top wedding vendors from throughout the Metroplex were on hand to offer wedding suggestions and show the latest in bridal trends, invitations and attendant gifts.  

A Multi-Cultural Bridal Fashion Show was the highlight of the show. This season’s color trends are a spectrum of Chocolate tones. There were fashions for the flower girl, mother, groomsman, bridesmaid, and the groom, but it was the breath taking beauty of the bridal gowns that stole the show.

Each participant left with a bag of goodies, filled with wedding information. All agreed that it was a fun afternoon and great show.
