Starwood Celebrates 4th of July

0 Ratings / 0 Comments

The Frisco neighborhood of Starwood held their annual 4th of July parade that was attended by a record number of over 200 families. They were honored to have Marine brothers, Brian and Joseph Stafford lead the parade along with former Mayor Mike Simpson and his wife Sandy.  The firemen of Station #3 drove their fire truck at the end with sirens ringing while the crowd waved on. The crowd enthusiastically thanked all of them for their service of our country, city, and neighborhood.  The celebration included a patriotic costume and decorations contest, refreshing snow cones, exciting swimming pool games, a huge water slide, and delicious BBQ.  With over 25 volunteers, great leaders for the parade, and beautiful weather, Starwood had one of its best 4th of July Celebrations ever!!
