The bout also marks the season debut of the Deadly
Kennedys, last year's intraleague champs. The team
returns this season with a roster full of rookies,
including Bullet Proof Dee Cup, Sloane Gunman and
Sweet Ass Candy. The Deadly Kennedys will take on
Central Arkansas Roller Derby in game two.

The first bout kicks off at 7 p.m. at Dad's Broadway

Skateland, 3022 Moon Dr. , in Mesquite .  Live music by

The Lash Outs and DJ Sista Whitenoise will be the soundtrack

for the evening, and there will even be a bit of family friendly

Burlesque by the Velvet Kittens at the half of the second bout.

 Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Kids under 10

get in free. Buy tickets in advance from the league’s web site,

Skatebus Skateshop. The event is BYOB (no glass,
please).

Women's roller derby, the nation’s fastest-growing
sport, combines speed, action, aggression and feminine
grace. Assassination City went from a dream to a
Dallas destination in 2005. The member-owned league is
part of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association.
