Hennig Studies Women’s Suffrage
Elaine Hennig is a 4th grade student in the Gifted and Talented class at E.L. DeGolyer. As part of her independent study project, Elaine chose to study Women’s Suffrage. Elaine didn’t know much about women’s history, and this assignment gave her the opportunity to learn more about the subject.“It’s so amazing what women have accomplished,” she said. “Their words and actions during the suffrage period exhibited real courage and dedication. Women who lived during this time period have caused our lives to be very different. I think every one should know about the victorious women of the suffrage period.”
