Kindergarten, first and second grade Gifted and Talented students at E.L. DeGolyer have completed a study on the explorer Marco Polo, who introduced Europeans to the culture of China. The students are dressed for a traditional Chinese street parade. Included in the study was an introduction to silk making. The students traced the silk road and the steps in the production of silk as pictured in their visual presentation.
