Congratulations to PrestonwoodChristianAcademy’s first senior division team to qualify for the International Future Problem Solving Competition at MichiganStateUniversity. The only private school competing, the PCA team placed third at the Texas State Bowl in Austin on Saturday, April 19, competing on the topic of Debt in Developing Countries.
Since Texas has such a large and competitive division, the international office extended a first-time invitation for third place winners to the international competition May 29-June 2. They will be competing against 41 other state teams as well as teams from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Korea, New Zealand and Singapore. Covering the topic of Child Labor, PCA will represent in the team competition and in the individual international on-site scenario writing competition.
Congratulations to Leah Lindley, Connor O’Neal, Billy Agee and Riley Lewis, for winning third place at the Texas State FPS Bowl; and Elizabeth Lloyd, the Texas State Champion in Scenario Writing (and winner of a $1,000 college scholarship).
