Holy Week at Christ United Methodist Church, Farmers Branch, 2807 Valwood Parkway, begins with Palm Sunday, March 16. The regular worship services will be held at 9 a.m., 10:15, and 11:30. Maundy Thursday service will be held March 20 at 7 p.m. The Easter Celebration Choir will add spice to the traditional communion service. The choir will perform a special Holy Week composition entitled "The Weeping Tree."

On Saturday, March 22, The Youth and Young Adult Ministries of CUMC are sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt. Children of the community, and their parents, are welcome. The hunt will begin at 10 a.m.

Three services will be held on Easter Sunday, March 23. The Sunrise Service will begin at 7 a.m. at Jaycee Park across Dennis Lane from the church. In the case of inclement weather, the service will be held in the Narthex at the rear of the sanctuary. The Easter Service of Resurrection will be held at 9 and 11a.m. Both services will include the Easter Celebration Choir. The Christ Alive Band, Sunshine Singers, Celebration Ringers, and the Brass Ensemble will also perform during the service.
