Health Scare This week - August 13, 2009 - 12:02 PM
I went to the ER this week with signs of heart issues. While in the ER, the EKG showed signs of a possible heart attack and I was rushed into a cardiac scope procedure. All is well...strong heart and clean arteries. Still clueless on what caused the episodes!

I've had two calls from Nashville regarding the Bill Anderson Show at RCMH. Bill meeting Ms. Dorothy and Hubert touched everyone's heart. Anderson's PR firm passed information on to Country Weekly, who is going to interview Ms. Dorothy. WOW! This wonderful little blind woman, who is the biggest Bill Anderson fan is now a local celebrity! Way cool!

The Bill Anderson show at Rodeo City Music Hall this past weekend was AMAZING! It was so touching to see Ms. Dorothy and Hubert finally meet their idol. AND...I met and chatted with Bill Anderson also (OMG)! My husband and daughters made fun of me because I was so giddy afterward. In our chat, I told him how I used to waitress at his Po Folks restaurant on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. in Atlanta, GA (where I grew up). While doing my research on him for a story, I learned Anderson graduated from the University of Georgia, Henry W. Grady School of Journalism and Mass Communications just like me. How cool is it to have these things in common with a famous country sing/songwriter? Needlesstosay, I am still in awe! Bill Anderson touch all of our hearts at RCMH and I think we touched his as well. Sigh!

I attended my first Terry Middle School orchestra concert last night. WOW! My daughter Miranda plays bass in the intermediate orchestra...GREAT job!
