Me in My Words: Thanks, McKinney neighbors, for voting me "Best Contributor" in NeighborsGo - I'm honored! After writing, the embroidered back of my motorcycle jacket says it all: "I'd Rather Be Sewing". Art, photography, and enjoying my 3 men (and all their unique activities) round out the mix.
Interests: Sewing and embroidery, painting, creating art and repurposing or making 'something from nothing', traveling, motorcycle riding, meeting people and enjoying friends, and my boys' hobbies, which could be at a blacksmith forge or airplane hangar.
Favorite Sports Teams: No teams, but my favorite sport is hitting the historic McKinney square and visiting restaurants, galleries and shops...a little bit of Europe just down the street.
Interesting things for other users to know: I spent my early years in South America. I have traveled 4 continents and savored every minute. I've learned all I know about electricity & physics from my favorite EE. I love Texas and Texans ('bless their hearts') and living in McKinney.
Favorite Movies: "Bride and Prejudice", an Indian send-up of the British version; Notting Hill; Brokeback Mountain (love that soundtrack); The English Patient; Christmas Vacation; any Czech movie.
Favorite TV Shows: Shows about crime-solving; Projct Runway - all that creativity! all that fabric! - HGTV and Ace of Cakes. Check out Evan's prizewinning video on SchoolTube.com, 'Welcome Home the Troops'...the MHS1 videos are so well-done.
