hey helpless, I saw your question to me about cooking tips. I'll see what I can cook up for you. In the meantime, here's a suggestion you might try. My wife and I enjoy watching cooking shows, and got to wondering if we could really do one of those "30 minute meals" that you see on Rachel Ray. We chose an episode, printed the recipe and started an adventure. We ended up buying a bunch of ingredients we'd never used before...or after...and it took the two of us over 2 hours preparing and cooking the meal. The ultimate value was in the time we spent together. So, there's the challenge...get together with your hubby, choose an interesting "30 minute meals" episode...and get cookin'. I'll be anxiously awaiting the writeup on that one...

I know Lewisville is a way off, but we can help teach you basic gardening skills so when you learn to cook, you can cook with healthy foods that you grew! It isn't as hard as you might think.
