I find the award of this to be interesting.
It appears to be a restricted area.
I dident see any enclosed small tents like this at the fair.
Is this an employee, staff, sponsor area?
It also appears to be a little soft, not quit in focus.
Don't mean to be critical, but giving away a prize of this value you expect the photo to be of better quality, and composed better.
Although the prize winning State Fair Photo has good quality and clarity of it's main subject, the advertisement behind the little girl took away from me all enjoyment of the photo being shared. The image I see is of a little girl alone while her parents are not in sight. I hope and pray that they were not partaking of the advertisements product leaving the little girl alone. The photo without the advertisement would have been excellent and my obvious choice. Perhaps the background could have been a child's ride instead. Hmmm
