IISD Student/Teacher Holiday
All Irving ISD schools and offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving holidays, November 25-27. November 23-24, are holidays for students and IISD employees will participate in staff development. During these two days, all schools will be closed, but central administrative offices will be open for regular business hours. | Irving Independent School District

Flying Saucer's Annual Turkey of the Year Gla
Flying Saucer will feature its annual Turkey of the Year commemorative glass on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The 2009 Turkey of the Year is Bernie Madoff.
The glasses will be available starting at 7 p.m., and it’s recommended that people get there early because the glasses go fast. As this is a special edition glass, there will be a small charge for the glass, in addition to the cost of the beer.
