Back by popular demand, this evening is sure to be fun as Chef Mo Assi of Lawry's challenges the winner of last quarter's "Chopped" event. The chefs will turn a selection of everyday ingredients into an extraordinary three-course meal. The ingredients will be a secret to the competitors until revealed to you, the audience. Each chef will prepare a three course meal for you using the secret ingredients and whatever can be found in the Culinary School Kitchen. The dishes will be plated and served to you, the guest and judge. That's right. You will be the judge and vote on each dish. Don't miss this fun-filled evening.

Fall Dance Concert North Lake College’s Center for the Visual and Performing Arts invites you to its fall Dance Concert on Nov. 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. The performances are free and open to the community. A variety of dances will be performed, from classical ballet to hip-hop, including a finale by all thirty-three students dancing to “Ja Ho,” from the movie ‘Slum Dog Millionaire.’
The twenty-one member dance team will premiere its new kick line, and will also perform a specialty number that makes fun of drivers who talk on their cell phones. The day dance company will perform hip-hop and jazz numbers, while the night dance company will perform jazz and tap. The ballet class will perform a pointe piece.

Texas Tornado Home Game at Dr Pepper Arena: N Fans receive free Texas Tornado merchandise with each coat donated at the gate (while supplies last). The coats will benefit the Samaritan Inn, Collin County’s only homeless shelter. Along with the coat drive, the American Heart Association will be on hand promoting Go Red for Women, ESPN will host their Fan Zone and be onsite to meet the fans and cheer on the Tornado against the Wichita Falls Wildcats. Miss Texas, Ashley Parivar will “drop the puck.” Fan groups participating are the Samaritan Inn, American Heart Association, Dallas Junior Hockey Association and Plano Mini Mites.
