Student Photography Exhibition
‘Through the Looking Glass,’ the fall 2009 North Lake College Student Photography Exhibition, runs from Nov. 12 to Dec. 3 in the North Lake College Gallery.
This year's Student Photography Exhibition showcases the works of P. Gallegos Enriquez and features the works North Lake College film and digital photography students. North Lake's Photography Program offers introductory and advanced digital photography and Black & White film courses, which are offered for either photography or art credit or for personal enrichment through continuing education. AECPTA Presents Profession: Parent Program
The Allen Early Childhood PTA (AECPTA) presents "Profession: Parent", a Texas PTA program, on Friday, November 13th at 9:15 am at 821 S. Greenville in Allen.
Special guest speaker Heather Ashwell-Hair will be teaching parents the tools of the trade that they need to help their children reach their full potential.

Plaza Suite at Studio B
Studio B presents Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite on November 13, 14, 15. This story takes place over three acts and is set in room 719 at the Manhattan Plaza Hotel. Here, the play tells the story of three couples successively occupying a suite at the Plaza: two are suburbanites who take the suite while their house is being painted and it turns out to be the one in which they honeymooned. The others: a philandering Hollywood producer and an old flame; and a mother and father fighting about the best way to get their daughter to her wedding. This play was written by Neil Simon in 1967 and hit the movie screen in 1971 featuring Walter Matthau.
Tickets for Studio B’s presentation are on sale now. Times are 7:30 on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2:30 on Sundays. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students and $10 for children 10 and under. Reserved seating tickets are on sale up to 48 hours before the show opens.
