When it comes to high school football, well, I don’t know too much. Thank goodness for Patrick Iversen, sports editor for the Marcus High School Marquee. The Marcus junior just posted his District 6-5A Week One preview on HS GameTime.com. The column also will run in the first edition of neighborsgo featuring HS GameTime this Friday, Sept. 5.

Post videos, stories and photos about your high school’s teams and groups at HS GameTime, too. The best of the best will make it into the paper every Friday.

I just hope this carving stops and ends with Dirk, lest we forget the shame that Dallas native Robert Van Winkle (aka Vanilla Ice) and his sliced eyebrows and "whack" bleach 'n' blow dry hair brought to the area. What do you think? Too cold?
