You can find out a little of what's going on in Southern Denton County each week by reading my Editor's Notes. Sometimes I discuss events in the community, and sometimes I talk about my family, friends and coworkers. But whatever the topic, it's happening in Southern Denton County because that's where I live and work. I invite you to comment, make suggestions or just read the column and enjoy.

There are so many things I like about the community in which I live and work, I’m not sure I can hit all of them in just one Editor’s Note; so I’m just going to discuss a few this time.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve excelled at spelling, grammar and punctuation where others have not. Yes, I am fatefully right-brained. That’s why, a long six months after graduation, I was so excited to join the neighborsgo team. (more)

This week’s Editor’s Note has been a chore to write. What is usually a snap to put together proved to be a difficult task. The reason? Because there are so many things going on the community I wanted to write about and I have very limited space I can call my own in the print pages.
