Well, I feel bad starting off this blog about five days after I created it, but unfortunately, that was the case due to a little Internet access debacle while staying in St. Louis.

All things aside, I can honestly say, I was very impressed with the largest city in Missouri and after four days and three nights, the Gateway Arch did not cease to impress. 

The goal of this blog will be to give little nuggets of travel information, anecdotes from the road and do's-and-do-not-do's of some of the places we will visit together.

I will keep you posted on the planning of my next excursion - a journey into the Texas Hill Country for a weekend soujourn in late July.
