A Dallas celebrity who’s been on my radar lately is Demi Lovato, Disney’s newest rising star. Star of the Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock, and the Disney Channel Original Series, Sonny With A Chance, Demi also released her first album, Don’t Forget, last September. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 selling over 89,000 copies in the first week.

Demi’s nationwide tour starts June 21. Recently, in a Radio Disney interview.... that I just happened to hear because I always listen to Radio Disney… Demi said that she was most nervous about the July 5 Dallas stop on her tour because she’ll be playing the Nokia Theatre in Grand Prairie, a venue where Demi herself saw huge acts like Kelly Clarkson.

Brian Baumgartner, better known as Kevin Malone on NBC’s The Office, got bored on Twitter last Wednesday and agreed to answer as many questions as possible from his Twitter followers. Naturally, I jumped at the chance:

BBBaumgartner: Yes! It is Wed morning! So psyched about that! In honor of Hump day… I will answer as many questions as possible for the next 30 minutes.
SamanthaUrban: What has been your favorite moment/scenario as Kevin?
BBBaumgartner: the stuff with Amy Ryan was prob my favorite. A joke that was set up for 4 years is hard to beat

(Brian is referring to the ongoing joke that Amy Ryan's Holly thought Kevin was a "special needs" employee.)

So there you have it! My minute with SMU alum Brian Baumgartner!

SMU alum and Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham won't be returning to television any time soon. The Evan Almighty actress is currently on Broadway in a revival of Guys and Dolls, but had shot a single-camera comedy pilot called Let it Go for ABC.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the show, which was about a self-help guru obsessed with her ex-boyfriend, is said to have met crickets in the screening room.

When Graham discussed the pilot with Entertainment Weekly a few months ago, she said, "It's a darker comedy...more like Arrested Development.
