My 14 year old son left yesterday to London on the People to People trip.  This is a great organization started by Dwight D. Eisenhower.  The song by Walt Disney "It's a Small World" was written for this group. 
He is traveling with 39 other kids from the East Texas area.  They were all Jr. High kids last year(13 and 14 years old).
They learned about the cultures and currency before they left. 
I have decided to start this, so the family can follow him across Europe.
When he gets back with all his wonderful stories, I hope he and the others will continue to post them here.
They left DFW last night at 7:00 for an overnight trip to London.  We got the call about 7 this morning, that they arrived and made it through customs.
Today they will visit King Henry the 8Th palace and then try to find their way through a living maze!  Lot's of fun!
