Programs for all ages at the Irving Public Library.

 

Vanishing Treasures, A Zooniversity Education Program

Irving Public Library invites children to Learn 2B Green and meet some of the animals scientists are trying to protect from extinction, as well as learn how these wild populations are threatened by habitat loss, over-collection by the pet trade and extermination by humans. The programs are available at the following locations:

  • March 10, 4 p.m. at Northwest Branch Library, 2928 N. Belt Line Road

  • March 10, 7 p.m. at Central Library, 801 W. Irving Blvd.

  • March 11, 4 p.m. at East Branch Library, 440 S. Nursery Road

  • March 11, 7 p.m. at Valley Ranch Library, 401 Cimarron Trail

  • March 12, 4 p.m. at Southwest Branch Library, 2216 W. Shady Grove Road
