- Oct. 16, 7 p.m. – Ravin’ about Poe featuring Bill Fountain and his theater group in a dramatic performance of Poe’s short stories and poems, Central Library, 801 W. Irving Blvd.
- Oct. 22, 7 p.m. – POEtry on the Patio featuring Journeyman Soul – Darius Frasure, Will Richey, and Alejandro Perez (AP), at the Java Me Up Café at the Valley Ranch Library, 401 Cimarron Trail.
- Oct. 23, noon to midnight – From Poe to Price: a Vincent Price Horror Movie Marathon featuring movies directed by Roger Corman,Central Library, 801 W. Irving Blvd.
