"It was sooo awesome to be in the studio and see how the show actually comes together," Carol McMillan wrote neighborsgo after watching Jason's latest performance from the front row. "They all did a better job with the Dolly Parton music than we ever imagined!"
Carol, her husband Mike and two daughters, took four seats in the Idol audience after the Castro family graciously gave up their passes so their friends could enjoy the experience first hand.
"In between commercial breaks, the judges typically leave the set and there is a host that interacts with the audience," Carol reported. "Sometimes the cameras were actually coming back on and judges were still scrambling to get to back to their places! Very different, when you can see the whole thing happening live!"
The McMillans joined Jason off the set in Hollywood, when Jason revealed how the whole group was affected when Ramielle was voted off. Jason told Carol that Ramielle was always the life of the party and that she would really be missed. "She was one of the nicest people in the whole group and everyone enjoyed being around her," Jason told her.
