The last we heard from Carrollton pianist Jeffery Ou, he was passing on his congratulations to co-contestant and America's Got Talent winner Kevin Skinner.

Now, the Jeffery Ou homecoming really begins.

He's already scheduled to be honored with a proclamation by Carrollton Mayor Ronald F. Branson at a Savoy of Josey Ranch Neighborhood Association block party Oct. 18. We'll have more details later.

Now, the Piano Gallery of Dallas will host a homecoming reception and fundraiser Oct. 24 at 13520 Inwood Road. Tickets are $25 and will go toward the nonprofit Elan International Music Festival scholarship fund.
Jeffery, a finalist on the $1 million NBC talent show, will perform and receive an award.
