McKinney has so many wonderful artists,writers, and musicians, yet there are a lot of folks that don't have a clue what treasures we have in our own backyard. The Art Club of McKinney is the oldest art club in Texas, yet many people don't know about it. Guests and visitors are always welcome the second Thursday of the month at the Heard-Craig Carriage house at 10am. The Second Saturday events on the Square are fantastic and the art galleries are buzzing and live music can be heard all over town. The Performing Art Center, MPAC, always features great plays, music and perfomances. Come out and enjoy McKinney. Rain or shine, it's a fun place to be.
