West Plano: storm damages neighborhood
Mine was the only house on the street with any visible damage, but that changed when I attempted to leave my house. Traveling north on Preston, I witnessed a fallen light post as well as several trees overturned. As I headed west on FM544, I was forced to turn onto Plano Parkway. Thinking I would just head west on Hebron until I hit I-35, I ran into another problem: Hebron was completely shut down at Old Denton Road. Needless to say, it took me a lot longer than usual to complete my drive to Lewisville today. Hopefully when I get home, if in a timely manner, the electricity will be back on. (I apologize to my co-workers, as I did not get to straighten my hair or wake up with a cup of coffee this morning. In addition, I did my makeup by candle- and flashlight. Now that's talent! Cool)
