Spring is beginning to show its colors as flowers are starting to bloom and trees start to bud. To be perfectly honest with you, I’m a bit tired of the browns and tans of winter, and quite ready for some real color. This week has proven to be particularly colorful with St. Patrick’s Day and all the ‘wearing of the green’.
Yes, I wore green Monday. I have a bit o’ the Irish in me; you might be able to tell by the red hair. The Irish bloodline goes back to my great-grandmother whose maiden name was McMahan. You just don’t get much more Irish than that. But I think everyone has a bit o’ the Irish on this greenest of days.
And tomorrow being Easter promises even more color with all its beautiful pastels and Springy designs. I love seeing all the bonnets and bow ties on children as they head off to meet the Easter Bunny or to Sunday school.
So, as the season brightens up and becomes more colorful, and as you take photos of your kiddos in their new Easter outfits or out hunting eggs, remember moms, dads, and grandparents, to post your photos on neighborsgo.com. I’ll be looking for the best to include in an upcoming issue of neighborsgo; you might even find your photo on the cover. High resolution and happy faces are the keys to a great photo.
Happy Easter!
