Why we list
- It’s always obvious what the top reason for anything is.
- Lists organize thoughts. Now, whether or not you can read the thoughts after they are organized is not the point.
- Making a blog themed with lists is easier than making one themed with politics, the economy, celebrity backlash, etc. As a results, you may see all of the above on this blog, and none in excess.
- It makes us feel accomplished (even when we’re not).
- We’d list anyway. This just helps us inculcate others/ force our opinions onto them. We’re a of bossy know-it-alls.
- Our siblings ignore us.
- When you respond to our blogs (like you really ought to, hinthint nudgenudge), you can contend every point with specific numerical denotation.
- We can then respond with even more specific numerical denotation- and we make even go into the alphabet!
- 10 is a very noble aspiration. Hence, 10 Things I Hate About You (not 9, or 11, but 10).
- We can post things we can’t post in our school paper! (Take that, super censoring newspaper advisor! (Not that we don’t love our super censoring newspaper advisor, of course)).
