Dallas Transgender Advocates and Allies are thrilled to welcome the Rt. Rev. V. Gene Robinson, Bishop of New Hampshire for a public conversation with transgender people. November 22, 2008 from 1:00 until 2:00pm Sheraton Dallas Hotel in the Seminar Theater 400 North Olive Street Bishop Robinson will share his wisdom and faith and answer questions regarding religion and its influence on progressive social action. He will also discuss what he has learned from the recent Lambeth Meeting and how his diocese situation parallels Queer and Transgendered people’s class struggle against social, religious and political exclusionary agendas. Donations of $20.00 are encouraged and appreciated to defray expenses. All remaining funds will forwarded to Carmen’s Place, an Episcopal home and outreach for LBGT youth, Astoria, New York.
