We will be discussing Nancy Ruth Patterson's book "The Winner's Walk." This book is a nominee for the Texas Bluebonnet Award which is a program for 3rd - 6th graders. After they have read 5 books, they are eligible to vote for their favorite book in January. The author is then awarded at the Texas Library Association's conference in April.
