September News from the Greater Lewisville Special Ed PTSA The Greater Lewisville Special Education PTSA will hold it’s first meeting of the school year on Tuesday September 9th, with the Regular Meeting and refreshments at 6:30 pm and the feature Program from 7 to 9 pm. The program is entitled Seeing Beyond the Disability, presented by Laura Buckner. Learn what steps to take to improve not only the upcoming school year, but also the years to come. Also hear a short presentation about LISD’s Circle of Friends Program with Karan Thetford of Flower Mound High School. SEPTSA is also hosting a Brown Bag Lunch on September 25th from noon to 1 pm on Financial Planning for families with special needs, presented by TJ Kroehle of Income by Design. Bring a sack lunch.
