The community is invited to attend The Hogwallow Boys concert on Sunday, September 7th at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Round Grove United Church, U.C.C. The church is located at 249 East Round Grove Road in Lewisville. Ticket prices are: $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for children/students, $30 for a family/household maximum, and children three (3) and under are free. Tickets may be purchased by calling the church office at 972-315-2777. Those attending the concert are invited to bring canned goods for food pantry of Christian Community Action in Lewisville. Each donated canned good will be worth one raffle ticket for a chance to win a free Hogwallow Boys CD. The gospel quartet, named after the Texas town, Hogwallow, is composed of Scott Cook, Robbie Paul, Gary Sherrill, and Lonnie Teal. Their CD, First Love, includes favorites such as “I’ll Fly Away,” “The Little White Church,” “The Unclouded Day,” and “The Old Rugged Cross.” A reception will follow.
