Celebrated Executive Chef Chris Ward celebrates the "Dog Days of Summer" with a magical afternoon of food, fun and a silent auction at The Mercury benefiting The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas. On Sunday, August 10 (2-5pm), Chef Ward will demonstrate some favorite recipes for humans and canines alike. Cost is $35 per person which includes 2 drink tickets, cooking demonstration with Chris Ward with a souvenir recipe book of demonstrated recipes, and a doggy bag of special canine treats for your pampered pooch. Chris Ward's culinary career began in 1979 at Arthur's and Old Warsaw. In 1985, he was honored with the distinction of being the first American Chef to assume the Executive Chef position for the Pyramid Room and the Venetian Room at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas. Chef Ward spent five years in New England before returning to Dallas in 1998 to partner with Mico Rodriguez and his M Crowd/Restaurant Life Group. Together the dynamic duo formed Restaurant Life
