PARADE JUNE 28TH 9:30AM! Are your kids ready to march in a parade? Get out your American flags, red-white-and-blue apparel, decorate your bicycles and wagons, and head out to the Duck Creek neighborhood for its 5th annual Independence Day Parade on Saturday, June 28th, at 9:30am. All Richardson residents, families, and friends are invited to participate in the parade or be a spectator from the comfort of your own lawn chair. All participants should report at 9:30am to the parade formation area at the intersection of Syracuse Drive and North St. Johns Drive, behind Huffines Recreation Center. The parade will begin at 10:30am. If you wish to watch the parade, feel free to park near (but not on) the parade route shown in the picture below. Then bring a lawn chair, picnic blanket, and ice chest, and enjoy the hour-long parade which has become an annual tradition of the Duck Creek neighborhood.
