There will be a public showing of the beautiful landscaped and floral gardens in the African-American McShann Estates in North Dallas on McShann Road on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2008. This African-American Neighborhood has the following attributes: • Original Owners, Freed Slaves – Keller • Developed in 1958 – all Custom-Built Homes and Landscaped Gardens • Located west of Preston Road and two blocks south of LBJ-635. • Surrounded by the North Dallas Orthodox Jewish Community The gardens are open from May 26 thru Early-Fall 2008 from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
