The Texas Lutheran University choral department presents its Spring 2008 Choir Tour, “Peace I Leave With You.” The performance includes a piece commissioned for the inauguration of TLU President Ann M. Svennungsen titled “O Fire of Love” by René Clausen and an eclectic program of selections that complement the themes of peace, grace, and salvation. Pieces from Africa and South America explore the need for the world community to come together to serve others in acts of humble service and love. Percussionists Paul Theiss and Caleb Hoffman join the choir in making these pieces of world music come to life.
